THE FOUNDER
Anu is a solution-driven industry expert with 20 years and over 400+ projects worth of first-hand knowledge and experience in Environmental Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Climate Action. She has been an advisor to international organizations in Europe & Asia – liaising effectively between businesses, governments, and regulators to propel ESG based strategies and bridge related knowledge and capability gaps.
Now with the SustainPlus team and a panel of experts placed globally, she aims to dedicate her expertise towards providing effective, resilient and risk mitigation solutions to companies that are ready to expand their horizons and add value to their processes.

Anirban Ghosh
Chief Sustainability Officer, Mahindra Group
Anirban leads Sustainability at the USD 20.7 billion Mahindra Group. Under his leadership Mahindra has developed an award-winning Sustainability framework, become the first to have a certified carbon neutral factory in India, doubled energy productivity in a company, and enabled 21 locations to become zero waste to landfill. He has, in partnership with the World Bank, facilitated the creation of the Sustainable Housing Leadership Consortium to accelerate the spread of green buildings in India. Anirban has led a shared value project that doubled per capita income for 50,000 people in rural India.
Anirban takes great pleasure in implementing projects that drive positive change in society and has been acknowledged as a “Thought Leader” and a “Distinguished Sustainability Officer”.
Shipla Ajwani

Nischala Murthy Kaushik
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at HFS Research
Nischala Murthy Kaushik is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at HFS Research, the leading analyst advisory authority covering global IT services, emerging technologies and business operations. She oversees the global marketing function with responsibility for marketing strategy, brand, content, operations, corporate communications, social media and events. She has over two decades of global work experience covering B2B marketing in the IT services industry and key roles in business innovation, strategic consulting, and technology solution development. A recognized thought leader and respected voice in the marketing fraternity, she has multiple industry awards and recognitions to her credit. A content creator (writer, podcaster, speaker), change catalyst and futurist in her own right, she was named among the 2020 Top 20 LinkedIn Voices for India. She is an IIM alum, mother and polymath artist.
Uday Gupta
Managing Director at Adhunik Metaliks Ltd/ Liberty House Group
Industry veteran Uday Gupta, who had earlier headed Mahindra Ugine Steel/ Mahindra Sanyo, has over 30 years of experience in the iron and steel industry. Mr. Uday Gupta graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta with 1st class honours. He did his post-graduation from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras where he was a recipient of Merit Award. He was appointed as the CEO of Steel Business in 2008 in Musco. He was the Executive Director in First Aluminium Nigeria PLC (erstwhile Alcan, Nigeria), a company listed in the Nigeria Stock Exchange and part of the Inlaks Group of Companies. He was responsible for the aluminium rolling and coil coating business of the group for 10 years. In 2011 he took over as the Managing Director of Musco, then Mahindra Sanyo and now he has taken over as managing director of Adhunik Metallics. He has had a long association of over 16+ years with Indian Aluminium Co Ltd, INDAL (Alcan, India) in various facets of manufacturing –maintenance, projects, and overall operation. During his tenure in INDAL, he was deputed for the Business Management course at Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
Anubhav Kapoor
Group Vice President Legal & Group Company Secretary Cummins India Limited
Anubhav Kapoor is Ford India’s Director of Legal Affairs and is based out of Pune. As chief of Legal, Anubhav is responsible for legal, IP, regulatory compliance and corporate governance practices and policies for the entities of Ford in India. Anubhav has 27 years of experience as in-house counsel which spans across various industries including IT, automotive, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, food, banking and insurance software’s and engineering. Anubhav has handled multifarious areas such as M&A, arbitration & litigation management, structuring large business contracts, IPR, global compliances to list a few. He was listed in Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) Strategy 300 among the World’s Leading IP Strategist and awarded as Star General Counsel 2017 of the year by Legal Era. He was listed as “World Leading General Counsel” in 2018 by Legal Era and as “Top 100 General Counsel in India” by Business World in 2021 and more recently by Business World Magazine BW Legal Group as part of Elite BW Legal World Top 100 General Counsel of India in Feb 2021. Anubhav is passionate about innovation. He has helped large corporates like Tata Technologies, Cummins, Domino’s Pizza India, Polaris to name a few; devise their IP creation and monetization strategies. Anubhav has also handled contracts and litigations involving complex IP issues. He has also been involved with IP issues during M&A, spin-out and joint venture deals during his long career. He has spoken on several national and international forums on topics related to management of IP.
He is also a serving member of CII Committee(s) on Legal Services and Regulatory Affairs. During his tenure at Tata Technologies, Anubhav has also served as Head of Global Corporate Sustainability at where he worked extensively in programs related to education of girls in engineering, promotion of diversity at workplaces and encouraging innovation and design thinking among engineers. His much successful “Ready Engineer” program targeted towards promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) has been awarded National Education Excellence Award 2017 by ASSOCHAM for significant contribution done by the industry in education sector in India.
He was also bestowed with an honorary Paul Harris Fellowship by Rotary International because of his contributions to e-learning and digital education in India and invited to speak at the Rotary International Convention at Canada in 2018.
